Women’s Wilderness Survival 201 is designed to take you beyond kit-based preparedness into the world of true bushcraft and long-term survival. Together, we’ll step off the gear we carry and onto the landscape itself—learning to live with what the woods provide.
This course welcomes women of all ages and backgrounds, whether you’re a seasoned survivalist, a weekend bushcrafter, a homesteader, an ultralight hiker, or simply a woodswoman at heart. No prior experience is needed—only curiosity and a willingness to learn. At its core, this class is about building both skills and community, encouraging more female voices and hands in the fields of bushcraft and primitive living.
Over the weekend, we’ll focus on meeting the essentials of woodland living: practicing self-aid, friction fire, and primitive shelter building. We’ll also explore woodland crafts, knots, navigation, edible plants, and food procurement through primitive trapping techniques. By the end, you’ll not only walk away with practical survival skills, but also a deeper sense of resilience—rooted in self-reliance, strengthened by community, and inspired by time spent in the wild.
